Today is extra special, as we support our local hospice St Catherine's. All entry fees will be donated and as a club we will round up the figure. Our hospice is a huge part of our community and our support is needed now more than ever. Most people in our local community will know of someone who has needed the services of St Catherine's, and how important they are at one of the most difficult times in life. Their care is only possible thanks to the generosity of local people like you, so lets get together and raise as much as we can.

Our first visit to Peacehaven on their new 3G pitch. It wasn't the result we wanted as we could not get to grips with the windy conditions. The first period we arguably were the stronger team but could not convert our chances. Peacehaven however went in at HT 1-0 up after scoring right on the HT whistle. 2nd half we competed well but playing against the wind we were always defending the game. PH played the windy conditions well and scored twice more in the 2nd half without reply to deservedly win the game.
Anvils & AFC drew two apiece in difficult conditions at the Withdean. Both sides struggled to get a grip of the extremely hard surface. Anvils went ahead 1-0 after just 5 mins after the Varndeanians keeper brought down Oli Leslie in the box and Oli dispatched the penalty 1-0 CD. Varndeanis drew level just before the break HT 1-1
2nd period Varndeanians took the lead 2-1 early on. But despite Anvils dominance they found it difficult to bridge the AFC packed defence. Oli eventually broke through to equalise 2-2. Several chances then came and went and the Anvils were denied two clear pens and a goal initially given late on.
